Turmeric is not water soluble. It is recommended to increase bioavailability and absorption to make turmeric into a golden paste by combining turmeric with black pepper and coconut oil, cold pressed olive oil or linseed oil which can then be added to either wet or dry food.

*Turmeric is not recommended for pregnant mares.

*Pets prone to urinary stones should not be given turmeric as it can increase urinary oxalate levels.
